The opportunity

We invite you to immerse yourself in a learning journey that disrupts the habitual, listens to voices that are seldom heard and nourishes underrepresented and exiled qualities.

We will explore the internalised conscious and unconscious assumptions of our roles as leaders in a time of deep change.

By engaging with systems theory, complexity thinking, emergent processes, trauma informed practice and soul and place based perspectives, we actively inquire how we embody and inadvertently reproduce the systemic beliefs, behaviours and patterns that cause suffering. By changing our perception, new patterns can begin to take shape.

The ethos

The very word leader can exclude women even those in leadership positions.

The dominant narrative of the heroic leader is so intrinsically woven into the cultural fabric that it is hard for us to have consciousness about the ways it tells us who to be, how to be and what to be. This is how the status quo is often replicated by the insidious patterns that sneak into many change initiatives.

We believe in disrupting the conscious and unconscious messages that have been internalised by many.

For us, the word leader represents the delicate ecological interplay between self, others and the world. We are not separate from the world and the world is not separate from us. Learning how we are in relationship with ourselves, others and the world can allow new forms of responsive and regenerative leadership to emerge.

who we are

Bec Davison

With over three decades of dedicated service, Bec has emerged as a seasoned leader committed to transformative change. Starting on the front lines of homelessness, she cut her teeth serving socially excluded populations, honing a passion for making a difference within the limits of 'the way things get done'.

Through degrees in social philosophy, masters in social work and business and administration, she deepened her expertise of systemic discrimination and complex systems.

Taking both experiences, at her peak, Bec was Director of Quality and Research & Development at a major substance misuse, homelessness and criminal justice agency.

Managing 5000 employees and helping 80,000 people. She was the brains behind the strategy that ensured the highest standards of service delivery, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, all within the challenging complexities of a large organisation.

Not just a critical thinker; she's ethical, reflective and innovative, using her knowledge in Warm Data theory, the International Bateson Institute, and Art of Hosting practices to disrupt patterns, open up possibilities, and experiment courageously in the pursuit of radically inclusive solutions . Whether it's coaching one-on-one, running major events, or leading workshops for 200+ participants, she's a champion of deep systems change, Bec's commitment to ethical and just conscious action permeates every facet of her work.

Bec's mission is to apply her expertise to helping women and individuals from the global majority, teams and organisations fight against systemic discrimination. Bec's more than just a leader; she's a force for meaningful, impactful change.

Steffi Bednarek

Steffi is a Psychotherapist and Consultant in Climate Psychology and Complexity Thinking. Her work prepares leaders, teams and organisations to include the psychological dimension of change into the way we address the big questions of our time.

Steffi brings over 20 years of experience in applying depth psychology, living systems thinking and trauma informed practice to different contexts. These lenses take us into layers that lie beyond the mere correction of what is visible, controllable and measurable on the surface and bring awareness to the deeper conditions that hold a problem in place.

Her approach is not about fixing things, but about preparing the ground, so that necessary derangement of habitual patterns of thinking can be tolerated. She believes that this is the necessary condition for things to have a chance to come out re-arranged.

Steffi has worked for local and national governments, the corporate sector, the Council of Europe and large NGOs. She has managed national and international projects, headed up large mental health services and worked on socio political change for women’s issues. Steffi is an Associate of the Climate Psychology Alliance, Firekeeper at the World Ethics Forum and Associate of the American Psychological Association’s Climate Change Group.

Her book ‘Climate, Psychology and Change’ will be published this year.
